Fecal Transplant

Micro-biome restorative therapy (fecal transplant) is a
way to reboot the immune system of an animal.
Our pets need healthy microbes to work together to
strengthen the immune system, therefore helping the
body to stay healthy. When there is an imbalance of
these microbes, illness can occur. A fecal transplant will
reintroduce a healthy biome from a healthy dog or cat and
try to re-establish the hundreds of species that are
needed.
Typical methods include an oral infusion/capsule or
through an enema.
The animal then needs to be on high quality nutrition,
probiotics, and digestive enzymes to enable the new
micro biome to have a healthy environment.
